Celebrating the Micronesia Challenge Virtual Forum
The President of the Federated States of Micronesia, His Excellency David Panuelo invites you to celebrate the Micronesia Challenge during a virtual forum on Wednesday 21 April 2021.
On the eve of Earth Day, we celebrate fifteen years of progress and impact toward our original Micronesia Challenge commitment to effectively conserve at least 30% of the near-shore marine resources and 20% of the terrestrial resources across Micronesia by 2020. Together we will celebrate the bright spots, reflect on the lessons and be inspired by the locally-led, regionally connected Micronesia Challenge 2030 commitments spearheading the next decade of action on the Global Goals.
Hosted by His Excellency David Panuelo, President of the Federated States of Micronesia with His Excellency David Kabua, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Governors of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam and other leaders.
