INTO THE ISLANDS WITH DAN HO

One Man, Zero Crew. The Micronesia Challenge proudly presents a fun, informative web series that follows the inimitable Dan Ho as he travels throughout Micronesia to discover how the Micronesia Challenge plays out in everyday life with real people involved in the efforts.  Determined to make the series as environmentally sensitive as the Challenge itself, Dan writes, shoots, produces, edits and packages the entire series by himself.  Watch the episodes and enjoy!


Episode 1: Pilot.  Chamorro fishermen experience Palau.  Dan follows fishermen from Guam and Saipan as they fish in Palau. He also travels to Saipan to spend a day throw net fishing.   WATCH NOW
Episode 2: The Palauan fishermen come to Saipan & Guam.  The Palauans in episode 1 travel the reverse journey.  An eye-opening look at the differences in fishing and conservation practices. WATCH NOW
Episode 3: The Young Champions.  Dan travels to the Marshall Islands, Yap and Chuuk to meet some of the Challenge's Young Champions. We see the stark realities of climate change and sea level rise. WATCH NOW
Episode 4: Nan Madol and Yela's Magnificent Forest.  Dan travels to Pohnpei and the fabled settlement of Nan Madol. Then it's off to Kosrae where he visits a similar site, Lelu, and the amazing trees of Yela.  WATCH NOW
