The Our Oceans Conference 2020 would've been held this week in the beautiful island of Palau and we were really looking forward to celebrating it with you all. However, due to Covid-19, it has been rescheduled to December 7-8, 2020.
We are still very excited and looking forward to celebrating the Micronesia Challenge and all it's accomplishments during this milestone year. We will also be launching the new conservation targets through the Micronesia Challenge Plus 2030 (MC+ 2030)! Originally, we had hoped to do this during the Our Oceans Conference that was supposed to be this week, but now that it has been postponed to December we will be doing a series of virtual events to raise the profile of the Micronesia Challenge, leading to an island-wide fiesta celebration at the Our Oceans conference in December!
